Terms of use and sale

These terms govern the use of yoursummaries.com and its Chrome extension (the "Service") and the purchase of credits. By creating an account or buying credits, you accept them.

1. The Service

Your Summaries generates written summaries of YouTube videos from their subtitles, using artificial intelligence. A video without subtitles cannot be summarized.

Summaries are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. They are provided for information only and do not replace watching the video.

2. Account

You need an account to keep your summaries and use credits. You must provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You can delete your account at any time from My account.

3. Free use and credits

• Without an account, you can generate up to 5 free summaries per day.
• Every new account receives 3 free credits.
• One summary costs one credit.
• If a summary fails before it starts being generated, the credit is automatically given back.
• Credits do not expire while your account exists. They are lost if you delete your account and cannot be exchanged for money.

4. Prices and payment

Credit packs and their prices are shown on the Pricing page, in euros, all taxes included. Payment is made by card through Stripe, a secure payment provider; we never see your card details. The order is final once the payment is accepted, and the credits are added to your account immediately.

5. Right of withdrawal

Credits are digital content delivered immediately after payment. Before paying, you expressly ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal (article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• bypass the free-use limits, for example with automated requests or multiple accounts;
• disrupt or attack the Service or its infrastructure;
• use the Service for illegal purposes.

We may suspend an account that does not respect these terms, after informing you except in urgent cases.

7. Intellectual property

You may use the summaries you generate for your personal needs. The videos and their content remain the property of their owners. Your Summaries is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.

8. Liability

We do our best to keep the Service available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, in particular when external services (YouTube, AI providers) are unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

10. Changes, applicable law and disputes

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page on the day of your purchase. These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
